Education for Livelihood programme.
Education for Livelihood programme was a CARE INDIA funded project for 11 months implemented from November 2011 to September 2012 in 20 villages of Thurinjapuram block. 400 illiterate advert women participated in this programme for literacy, numeracy, functional education and social awareness creation programme. Towards the end of the project, all learners joint together and organized an exhibition on 26.09.2012 at Raja Rajeswari Kalyana Mandapam, Tiruvannamalai.
SINAM-Summer Camp 2012
This has been jointly organized by SINAM, Tiruvannamalai, CARE INDIA and PEIERLS Foundation. Mr. Narasimman, Manager of Pallavan Rural Bank has inaugurated the exhibition. Mr. Vinothkumar, Technical Programme Co-ordinator from CARE INDIA, Chennai AND other stake holders have participated.
